Training workshop (climate literacy)

7th and 8th February 2024

The Together to Protect Human & Environment Association, in coordination with the International Relations and Cooperation Department of the Iraqi Ministry of Youth, conducted a training workshop on 7th and 8th February 2024 for a group of members of youth forums in Baghdad. The workshop focused on climate change within the framework of the international initiative “Climate Literacy,” led by the association in Iraq as a partner of the International Earth Day Network. It aimed to introduce concepts, reasons, and challenges facing youth in climate action, along with proposed solutions. The workshop concluded with a set of solutions to be presented to the Iraqi Ministry of Youth to facilitate youth engagement in climate action. The association’s work was evaluated through a certificate of appreciation presented by the International Relations and Cooperation Department.
