In 2007, Marko founded BCon Ltd, a consulting firm that helps companies and public organizations to reduce carbon emissions. Marko specializes in forest bioeconomy and has years of experience of leading lumber and renewable energy business in North Karelia, Finland. Doing his share to prevent global warming is the ultimate career goal for Marko. Marko graduated from the University of Joensuu in 2007 with a Master’s Degree in Forest Engineering and Wood Products Technology. He enjoys mountain biking and other activities in nature and is an avid reader.
