With the start of the autumn, our founder, Mika Vanhanen, has permanently moved to Vajrakila Ltd. Mika founded ENO in 2000 in a primary school in Eastern Finland and has since worked towards building a better and more sustainable world for all of us. His enthusiasm and foresight have lead ENO to become a worldwide network of students, teachers, civil servants, other individuals and organisations taking action for sustainable development. Mika, through Vajrakila Ltd (TreeBuddy.Earth), and ENO will continue the work for sustainable development together. For the journey of ENO, please see 20 years of ENO.
ENO would like to express its huge gratitude to Mika for all his work for ENO and the environment as a whole!
The work for sustainable development will continue at ENO by our Environmental Education Specialist Maire Turunen and chairman of the board Kaija Saramäki.
